Meeting room for 20–24 people in Copenhagen in a U-shape
For 20–24 delegates in a U-shape with a clear view of the screen, 84.94 m² is the minimum. Our medium rooms seat up to 18 in a U-shape, while Loire, Loch Ness, Mont Blanc and Lake Geneva each seat 24 when combined. All 21 rooms are on the same floor in Ørestad, a five-minute walk from Ørestad Station.

Why do medium rooms seat only 18 in a U-shape?
The screen is at the open end of the U so everyone has a clear view.
Why do medium rooms seat only 18 in a U-shape?
A U-shape uses more floor space per delegate than most layouts, because tables occupy three sides and the centre stays clear. The table perimeter, as well as floor area, therefore limits capacity.
In a 51–57 m² room, a U-shape seats around 18. Adding a 19th person requires a longer U, leaving too little space around the ends. We therefore recommend a combined 84.94 m² room for 20 or more delegates, even if the same room seats more in theatre style.
How much presentation space does a U-shape provide?
The open end of the U is where the screen, flip chart and presenter go. The table shows U-shape capacity, area and alternative layouts if you change setup during the day.
If delegates will sit around one table instead, use the boardroom column. See the area and capacity of all 21 rooms in the full capacity table.
